When is the last time you saw a President involved in bracketology? I don’t really ever recall any other President being that involved publicly in March Madness, until now. In fact, President Obama had a spot on ESPN where he filled out a bracket deemed Barack-etology. How does it feel that the President of the United States is picking your arch rival school?

I really didn’t think much of it, until I saw a news story in the headlines. Duke’s Coach K responded to Obama’s NCAA tournament picks. Here are some of comments from Coach K:

Somebody said that we’re not in President Obama’s Final Four, and as much as I respect what he’s doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets.

I can’t tell what he is getting at in his remarks about Obama. Does he really feel his team is Final Four worthy (they are not, by the way) or is he using is college basketball prowess to state his opinion of Obama?

I think it’s cool that Obama is involved in connecting with the Average Joe by doing this. I just hope he didn’t spend as much time as I did picking his bracket.

The real question is, will Obama have better luck filling out his bracket than filling out his cabinet? Really, Obama?  North Carolina?

Good luck the rest of the way!
